Since 1983
Stitchco pillows are made by American Stitchco, a veteran- and family-owned cut-and-sew manufacturer that has been sewing in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1983. We're not a brand that outsources production and puts our name on someone else's product — we own our factory, and every pillow is made by our own team, on our own floor, in the USA.
Our Ethics
Because we own our factory, we know exactly who makes our products and how. Every position at American Stitchco is filled locally and paid above minimum wage. We also work directly with every supplier in our materials chain, so we can stand behind what goes into every pillow — not just the parts you can see.
We don't publish the specific names of our material suppliers. That's not about hiding anything from you; it's to protect the sourcing relationships and specifications that took us years to build from being copied.
Sustainability
Our factory in Yellville, Arkansas runs on solar power. Manufacturing pillows close to home, powered by the sun, is part of how we keep our footprint smaller without cutting corners on quality.
Our Materials
Every material we use is chosen for durability, comfort, and safety — nothing filler, nothing exaggerated.
A blend of natural and synthetic latex (about 30% natural, 70% synthetic), a formulation chosen for durability, breathability, support, and pressure relief. Naturally cured and washed, and processed to remove the allergy-triggering proteins found in raw latex — making it inherently hypoallergenic and naturally resistant to dust mites. No flame retardant chemicals are added.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1Every Stitchco pillow ships with a zip cover made from an organic cotton fabric backed by a US Cotton Trust Protocol certificate, engineered to absorb moisture fast — the manufacturer's own testing shows it absorbing many times its weight in seconds — and hold it without leaking back through, so your pillow stays fresher between washes. Free of PFOS, PFOA, lead, heavy metals, BPA, and phthalates, and rated UPF 50+.
US Cotton Trust ProtocolMade in the USA from a silver-based antimicrobial fabric. The antimicrobial protection is bonded into the fabric during manufacturing — a durable, wash-resistant treatment, not a topical spray-on that wears off — and it's built to resist odor-causing bacteria and fungi through repeated washing. Free of PFOS, PFOA, lead, heavy metals, BPA, and phthalates, rated UPF 15–20.
